L.L. Bean has a great selection of dry flies, nymphs, and streamers at good prices. If you live in the Upper Valley near Hanover, NH, then you might want to check out Hanover Outdoors. They have a great selection of dry and wet flies and offer guided tours of the  Mascoma River. I went with the founder of www.hookedin.com and we caught 7 fish between us on nymphs! Not bad, considering it was his first time casting a fly rod.
