Fair Avon Farm is located on the banks of the Mascoma River in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The original home and barn were built in 1780. In the winter, a group of wild turkeys frequently visit the farm to play an interesting game with the apples that fall to the ground from the trees in the orchard. They peck at the apples, watch them roll across the snow covered field, and chase them into the woods. Now that's very funny!
Apple Orchard
The Fair Avon Farm apple orchard produces some terrific apples for baking. The apples are relatively small, but taste great in apple pie.
